It costs a lot more than the model in this thread. Also, your link doesn't have a NVMe card in it (which is super fast), it has an old style super slow 3.5 1TB hard drive.

Maybe it will be good for you, but without an NVMe card or SSD it will be a turtle. Just research it, and maybe there are good reasons to get the model you are thinking of getting.

I ended up going with the XC for some of the reasons you've stated. For a Plex media server I think this will do just fine with HW transcoding.

maybe you can report back to us how this i3-10gen works as plex media server. And others in thread can assist you with it if you have problems, or you can watch youtube how-to videos to help you.

These generally do not come with WiFi just an M.2 for it empty. So you will need to buy the M.2 WiFi. I got it from China for $14. It came in two weeks. The Micros come with WiFi and I3 SFF also often come with it. It it comes with Windows Home most likely also WiFi.

I guess I can answer this tomorrow when mine shows up. Would I be able to swap out the PSU and maybe move this into a new case? Certainly would open up options to non small form factor GPUs

Is the 256GB an m.2 drive or a SSD? In the video it shows a m.2, but description says SSD. I want to add a 3.5 HDD and don't know if the caddy is populated or not in this system.

Seems like a maybe. The motherboard power plug looks like a regular 6 or 8 pin. Also the motherboard is an odd shape so unlikely to just drop in a new case. Probably just find a small form factor GPU and call it a day.
