no, regular security cam. i already have unreliable 2k 15fps eufys and crappy 1080/15 wyze. i'm ready for 4k/30. zoom would be nice but i think those will cost hundreds.
I'm sure it can, my Kasa can do that. If you place in a window looking out, you probably want to a paint a piece of hard stock paper flat-black, with a small hole cut in it where it looks out the window. Put this in front of the camera and it virtually eliminates window reflections of the camera and room, and disguises that you have a camera in the window.
Bigger question is whether it can work not connected to the web with just a micro SD card? My cheapo Kasa does this so I don't need to pay them $3 per month (only access on my local network, no access from the web when out of the house.)

Can this be used without the Energizer app? Maybe set up with a local server or visible through something like tiny cam?
Same here. I've been using Tiny Cam Pro for 15+ years with mostly Foscam cams, but with a few TP-Link and D-Link cams. Maybe 12 total. Every one of them works with Tiny Cam.
If I bought every cam deal on SD and used the cam's proprietary app, I'd have at least a dozen apps on my phone with no idea which one to launch to see what is going on where.
Any suggestions for a camera that'll work overseas? Wyze does not, apparently. Wanting to set up a camera in my living area where I'll be staying for anti theft
For the motion sensor how long does it record, different brand I have has increments of 1, 3 and 5 minutes which are good file sizes. The all day mode files creates in increments of :30 mintues, which is great because you can download reasonably sized files, this one says it has one file for the all day mode, which if it true, you lose everything that was recorded and no increments so you'll have a 128GB file , that don't make sense.
