kinda suspicious that in the last 7 months you've only ever commented on 3 products and they're all Energizer products.

You'd think a battery company would make it battery powered

All reviews look paid. Anyone have this camera and can talk on the quality?

This arrived today. Package says 1080p. Manual is at Energizerconnect.com (use model EIX1-1003).
In this case the Energizer name has been licensed by "JEM connected IoT", an importer in New Jersey.

The cam connects by reading a QR code displayed on a phone running their EnergizerConnect app. Presumably this tells the cam how to connect to your local wifi.

However the actual manufacturer is Hangzhou Meari Technology. The FCC ID is:
2ag7c-mn2-f1
for "Mini 2-F1 IP Camera" dated 01/25/2022

main processor:
Fullhan FH8626v100 2mp 1080p @ 15fps H.264 with 64mb internal memory.

According to the manufacturers manual, the camera works with the Smart Life app.
Manufacturer's manual is here:
https://fccid.io/2AG7C-MINI2-F1/U...al-5653557

SO: it should be possible to use this cam with the popular SmartLife app used by other manufacturers.

Thanks for posting though! Didn't even know Energizer made cameras
They don't. They simply put their brand on cheap generic Chinese made products. If you go to another country, you'll see the identical camera under a different brand. Energizer will, however, provide support and warranty service for the product. This is not a slam against Energizer, but it's just the way things are done.

Thanks for the info. So I can monitor the camera on my phone for free without using their Cloud service?

In for one because Walmart has a great refund policy. The thing that sold me was the 2 way sound. Our present camera allows me to listen in but can't broadcast my voice. This camera allows me to talk to the subject in the camera, which can be handy for deliveries. Or scaring away intruders.

Thanks for the FCC info. I'm also a fccio.io nut myself but couldn't find FCC registrations for the camera under JEM Connected IoT (FCC grantee code 2AXOH) or Jem Accessories Xtreme Cables (their older/other name, code 2AHAS). Turns out it was registered to the manufacturer (Hangzhou Meari) as you discovered.

The sensor size is tiny at 1/4" so the quality, light sensitivity and viewing angle will mostly likely be worse than Wyze/Eufy/Kasa cameras (most have 1/3" or bigger sensors).

Can you use the smart life and view the cameras through local networks? If so, then we would just need to block internet access for that device so it doesn't allow connectivity back to energizer or China? Tia!

All these people putting up cloud-connected INDOOR cameras...even if you're not putting it in sensitive areas of the house, it's still really creepy
I setup my Wyze cams for home and away. When I'm home they are turned off.

PS- your phone and computer etc have cameras too

The number of times people mention "your phone also has a camera" as if it justifies the creepiness of having a cloud-connected camera indoors. If your phone is accessing the camera when it shouldn't, there's both more oversight over that and easier to detect. These cameras inherently stream footage to the cloud to do the thing that they do. You have no idea if it's good or bad or who is looking at the footage. Especially true when the backend of a lot of these are some Chinese company with no accountability.
