I got this last time it was $5. Def worth it at this price. Not a more nostalgic game than the original contre for kids born in the 80s.

We had a fisher price toy controller for our kid that had a cross pad and buttons. I was not disappointed when I tried the konami code.

Not just you but an entire generations of kids. I find it fascinating it's as big a part of pop culture as it is. Did that many kids play Contra back in the day? It's oddly specific.

This applied to MANY games made by Konami, hence the name of the code. It was a way for programmers and testers to get through the whole game without starting from the beginning over and over.

I realize that but were any of those games nearly as popular as Contra? Even all the Konami games that used the Konami code doesn't seem like it would make such a contribution so indelible to so many young kids minds.
