In my personal experience, this one is pretty good. It has better runtime than my Dyson v8 and works really good on carpets and fairly acceptable on hard floors. The extra battery is very handy and the docking station is really good as it can charge both batteries at once.
I have had it only for about a month now, so can't comment on longevity.
I wish this came with specialized hard floor "fluffy roller" too though, but it's good for my use case of quick clean ups around the kitchen and living room everyday.

I only posted this because it's the lowest price I've seen, and has great reviews everywhere I found.

There was a FP deal for $244 a little over a week ago, then the price jumped to $500. Now its back down to a new low of $234 today. If it was this low previously I must have missed it.

Just purchased, would be curious to know if there's a fluidly roller that could be purchased?

This is well known for stronger motor&better life time than Dyson one.

I learned the hard way after buying one of these that the warranty DOESN'T cover the battery - which no longer took a charge after 9 months or so. Customer service hemmed and hawed about covering the repair, and in the end they said the battery "was subject to normal wear and tear" and wasn't covered - which was complete BS.

I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a long-lived product. 👎

Ouch! $100 for a piece of plastic with no lights?

Makes this not-a-deal for anyone with hard floors.

Thanks for the heads up as I was having a hard time finding it.

crazy.

I am in the same boat. Still $232+100 = $332 still makes it the best LG package price that I have found. Did you see anything better? It seems from my research that Dyson, once the gold standard, has been replaced by LG for quality.

How's it compare to the Dyson v11?

My thoughts exactly! I am testing it with the combo head first and then decide if this is sufficient without the floor head. I don't think I need the other head that comes with the ultimate model.

If you have a lot of hard floors and you've ever used a vacuum with a light you would be looking at another vacuum....

For quick pickups the LG A9 is the best vacuum I have found to date.
However you probably still want a full size machine for doing cleaning. Particularly when it comes to carpet deep cleaning and just trying to do the whole house at once. It's a stick bag so the bins kind of small and you do have to go outside to empty it.
I'd say buy it from Costco try it out see how it works in your house. Then get a machine to address any short comings or return it.

I am looking to buy this for one purpose: Suck and kill hard to reach bugs. My question: Will they live if I suck them or will they be killed by the vortex of wind?
Suction up the bugs then spray some Raid into the vacuum.

I've been researching these stick vacuums for a while now and have noticed significant differences between models. For starters, you want to look at suction power(sometimes listed as air watts(AW). Most of the higher priced models are around 200W suction power, whereas the lower models are around 150W suction power. LG has this particular model listed as 140W suction per their website https://www.lg.com/us/vacuum-clea...ick-vacuum Whereas the "kompressor" models, higher priced have the 200W suction. Samsung Jet 75(formerly Jet90) has 200AW suction and the Jet 60 fit has 150AW. Tineco is even more confusing, but I've only seen them listed anywhere between 120-145W suction power - A11 hero(120W) Pure one S11(130W) S12(145W). Tineco will also list the motor wattage between 450W-500W aswell, but this is not an indication of the suction power so is misleading. After seeing all of this, I have tentatively decided to go with a Samsung Jet 75 https://www.walmart.com/ip/SAMSUN.../238097531 as it has the suction power that I hold in the highest regard when researching Vacuum cleaners such as these. Just my two cents.

I have never had a stick vacuum but like the feel of the LG today and went ahead and ordered the fluffy attachment direct from LG.

We have a Miele home vacuum but I like this option for a quick vacuum….

Very pleased.
