One can buy the drums directly from bandai for $69.99 at

drums comes out Sept 22, 2022 which is when the new game also comes out.

I don't find it fun with the controllers. I haven't been able to find the drums in the USA.

Bought this a while back. It's a fab game. Also splurged at the time and got the drum set which was brilliant for playing with my kids.

From DS to 3DS to wii to Nintendo I never used drums. it is still fun. I think maybe the drums will be more fun but personally I don't feel like getting it for occasional play

I thought the motion controls were terrible to be 100% honest. I tried for about an hour and gave up.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this. I'm hoping for a retail release of the drum when the new game comes out. I've never played this, but it looks fun with the drum.

This game is also included in Apple Arcade if you are a subscriber to that service. As others have mentioned, the game might be best played on a touch screen anyway. Great game btw.
