you can adjust it with a allen wrench on the caliper.
I tried but it looks like my rotor is brushing against the inside of the fork.

May I kindly suggest giving consideration to cutting Gen3 a little slack now since they gave you $600. 😁
He did not get the bikes for $600, Do you really think any company would knock $600 of an $1800 order as an apology for not answering the phone? You really think an importer of Chinese bikes is going to allow that to happen? I guess all is possible, but I would just about fall over if that is found to be true. If it was, we all could just call up and complain and get $599 bikes. The story is ludicrous and made up while his behavior and comments tell the real story. He got buyer's remorse after ordering the Strides and wanted to cancel his order. He was in a tizzy that he could not get anyone to answer the phone to cancel his order. A that point he started trashing the company and giving terrible reviews of the components and overall quality of bike that he did not yet have his hands on. At some point he realized that the company had shipped or they told him they had shipped and could not cancel the order and he could not get out of the transaction, and he started threatening to refuse delivery while still trashing the company and the bike itself like him ordering was their fault I assume that at some point he realized that he was kind of stuck once they shipped and it was going to be much hassle or could cost to try to a return just because he changed his mind. The $600 lie pops up at that point as a means to save face. He has the bikes, and you can see he is somewhat disappointed in what he bought but with that not being the fault of the bike but him hastily choosing and buying a model strictly for street use and he now wants something for trail use. This is a person that complains and faults other people, a product and a company when he forgets to plug in the charger. Him forgetting to plug in the charger had him immediately stating as fact that fake batteries were in the battery packs. Do not take anything at face value, you are not dealing with a normal functioning human. My theory might not be perfectly right as it is hard to fathom the true motivation of his mind, I don't think he can or does either. He is playing a starring role in it I'm sure but not sure if the lies are for us or him.

I was thinking about buying the Gen3 Groove but after looking at the Wallke website I noticed the H2. Isn't that very similar to the Groove? I like that it comes with a rear rack to carry things. I did notice it says the battery is slightly less powerful but I'm not sure if their are any other differences.
I noticed this too. Can anyone with H2 confirm? $981 vs $999 but with accessories no tax and free shipping.

For those of you who have received the bike, is there a way to move beyond the 20 MPH limit? I saw in a YouTube review that Pedal Assist 5 has a decent amount more in the tank considering the jump from 4 to 5 was so small.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

There was a post, removing battery + 4 screws and disconnect what must be the speed limiter. User only saw a 4mph increase. Strange as it pulls so strong up to 20mph that I would've guessed 30mph was possible. I may give it a go as it is very reversible.

If you go to the trouble, why bother reversing it?

Wouldn't surprise me if the motor can hit 28mph like similar bikes.

I saw a video of someone doing it but don't know where. Just browsed through the thread and cannot find it. You have a link or post to reference?

For the brake upgrade, ensure to take motor sensor into consideration if you buy a full shimano set. One way to upgrade is to upgrade the calipers only - catazer MTB Road HB-100 MTB Road Line Pulling Hydraulic Disc Brake Calipers Front & Rear Mountain Bike Disc Brake E-Bike Disc Brake https://a.co/d/eCud1jn

There are plenty of YouTube videos on changing the calipers. Personally haven't tried yet but it looks promising.
Correct me if I'm wrong but a quick google search suggests it's not possible to mount hydraulic calipers to a mechanical lever system, or at least that it's a bad idea to do so.

Here is maybe the middle ground $169 - https://a.co/d/iLSLnXR
You get two brakes and two rotors, might be a slightly bigger reservoir.

These TRP have a big reservoir but still $125/ea:

nice i bet these are 100 x better and safer than the slide brakes

i got my stride to 38MPH down hill and took me almost 12-14 times to pump both brakes to stop

is it pretty straight forward to install ? do you just use the existing cables and brake handles on the handle bars?

Post #377. Linked video, procedure starts at 11:42. It's for the Wallke bike but guessing the same.

In case my wife gets scared……which she already is at 15mph. I don't scare as easy.
