I ordered a bunch about a month ago around this price. Seems to stay around $28-$30 they drop down to around $20-$22 for a couple days. For anyone wondering about expiration, the cases I got say best by 06/30/2023 for the lemon and 06/18/2024 for just the oil. I'm sure they would still be good past that date though. If you never tried sardines before I highly recommend giving them a try on some Ritz crackers with a dab of mustard. I don't really like fishy stuff too much but this is great and it's an excellent source of protein and omegas and you don't have to worry about mercury since they're so low on the food chain.

I just paid $7.49 for a 6-pack at Costco in-warehouse as they are on sale this month.

$10.99 - $3.50 = $7.49

I think it's only barely better than Costco. My last purchase was 6 pack for $9.79
But it was the regular EVOO one, don't care too much for the lemon flavor.

I guess there's free shipping here and if people have the 15% S&S, it's better

In for a dozen.

The last time I bought these (12/31/20) I paid $5.69 per dozen cans. True story -- I found out here on SD that Amazon had a price mistake/flash sale/whatever and I was able to get to get a couple cases at that amazing price.
Now, I did miss out on the mirrorless camera pricing mistake deal that year, but I did get these here sardines. And damn, these were pretty good sardines.

You should be able to get a free fish parts for that kind of purpose, from fish market or fish departments. But doing that will also attracts skunks, raccoons, rats, voles… Bears in some areas

Not sure where OP gets 'best price in 6 months'. They had a coupon sale on these at the end of April that made it a few bucks less ($15.55 with 15% S&S to be exact). It's still a decent deal on WP sardines, but can't say I was thrilled with the lemon flavor - it's not like you squeezed a wedge of lemon over some sardines, it's much different, kind of bland. Liked the plain EVOO one's much more. Gonna wait for those.

I take a hunk of toasted baguette, then smoosh the sardines into the craggy bread. Perfect.
