Just checked not included!!! No 0w-40 or 5W-40 included under advanced synthetic. Seriously Mobil.. I was waiting for this deal for a while now. I guess I have to jump on Penzoil deal now.

I saw the rebate by mail mentioned in the page you included. I went thru all the building bundle steps till checkout, but they don't mention any rebates there, just give a $17.79 bundle discount to make my total $39.99. Has anyone done rebates from Advanced Auto Parts before?

It is most likely this, which does NOT require you get a filter. Advance is just promoting their bundles with their over priced oil.

Which would be a miracle if it stacked since it's the same rebate processor.

It's cheaper to get the oil and filter from Walmart and do the $10 rebate, but it's close is you want to risk trying to stack them.

Genuine what? Do you think Acura makes their own oil filters. Honda rebrands them. They used to be made by Fram and were crap paper inside.

This is an honest question—Does Costco pay SD members on a per-post basis when you champion their stores? You would be hard-pressed to find a single thread around here where the Costco crowd doesn't enter the chat and usually talk about similar items being better and better deals to be had and how much they paid 2.9 years ago and blah blah blah.

The thing with x miles by your manufacture can vary like Driving conditions can vary a lot, not to mention oil can also vary. If you are not using there spec brand. as for example 5w30 is not the same brand to brand even in weight as there is a decent amount of variance allowed. Before synthetics really hit it off not all to long ago cars would still say every 3k and there was no issue to do 5k changes for most people. And now a days most synthetic cars say 7.5k-10k in the manual. So it's not to far fetched depending on someone's driving conditions that 15k would have no issues. I would say though I don't recomended using normal Dino oil when following manufacturers recommend for any recent cars as most of them figure in synthetic
