Before you know it, new movies will be available on streaming. This was my case for several new release movies. (I wanted to rent some movies on Redbox but then found out those movies are already showing on streaming channels we already have subscriptions.)
They really do have many of them streaming on their own respective streaming services in a short period of time.. I am in a debate with myself to see elvis and the black phone in theaters or wait till August 8th to probably see them on hbo max, peacock... seeing as I don't have a subscription to any theater chain like AMC A list or Regal Unlimited 🤔 I usually make the movie the excuse to go and pick up some theater popcorn really
If you are going to AMC, Tuesday is the best with discount Tuesday with Premiere membership. I can not recall if free Insider membership also gives you discount Tuesday. Thanks to discount Tuesday, we could take family to see Lightyear movie yesterday. Otherwise, movie outing is $100+ for a family now.

The free Stubs (Insider) gives you Tuesday discounts - but it waives the online convenience fee if you place an order with 4+ tickets.
Versus the Premiere paid membership where it's waived every time.
Of course, you would just buy the tickets at the box office instead of online to save on the fees.

Seriously, how do people/companies keep getting suckered by their bs? I remember years ago walking into a restaurant with my $25 restaurant.com certificate for their place in hand, only to have the owner stop us cold and tell us that they would not honor it. Turns out, the folks at restaurant.com had incessantly called and tried to get them to sign on, but they (the restaurant) had refused. The jackholes at restaurant.com went ahead and issued certificates for the restaurant anyway, duping people into spending money for bogus certificates. How they haven't been shut down and sued into oblivion is beyond me.
