Depends on what you prioritize. If you have multiple HDMI 2.1 gaming consoles (PS5, XSX, PC) I'd go with the C1. If none of that matters to you, wait on the Sony. The Sony supports HDMI 2.1, but it's limited to HDMI ports 3(eARC), and 4. If you plan on using a sound bar or AVR, you'll either have to get a HDMI 2.1 compliant receiver for HDMI 2.1 passthrough, get a HDMI 2.1 switch, or run your audio through optical (not ideal). The Sony 77" will have better picture quality and it has a glossy finish unless the smaller A80Js that have a semi matte screen. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

Absolutely amazing even for the 60hz games. There aren't a lot of 120 games but it's a huge difference… I'd play rocket league only in a 120 display.

Spider-Man and god of war look great, and very smooth. Plus a 77" display with clear quality on ps5 is even better.
Where as my parents have a Q85 Samsung (model unsure but it was about $1k less than mine, I paid $2800 75"C1 lg), and it does look great but not nearly as close.

The OS system is slow, but this is a crazy deal.

…But it may not be worth the significant % increase in price if that's your main priority.

What's killing me is I have 65 C9 and it still has best buy warranty for 3 more years and none of the current sets cept the G2 offers me anything quality wise with slightly brighter image since that's the only LG that can hit 1000 nits. Hard to justify $3000-4000 for simple size upgrade.

Even in the video the guy linked to make his point the guy even says in the video on bright content it's not an issue. And he doesn't mind it. There isn't a tv on the planet that wasn't gonna have reflection issues in that room in the video.
