Depends on what you prioritize. If you have multiple HDMI 2.1 gaming consoles (PS5, XSX, PC) I'd go with the C1. If none of that matters to you, wait on the Sony. The Sony supports HDMI 2.1, but it's limited to HDMI ports 3(eARC), and 4. If you plan on using a sound bar or AVR, you'll either have to get a HDMI 2.1 compliant receiver for HDMI 2.1 passthrough, get a HDMI 2.1 switch, or run your audio through optical (not ideal). The Sony 77" will have better picture quality and it has a glossy finish unless the smaller A80Js that have a semi matte screen. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

I was able to get an open box from Costco for $2000+tax. It came with the 3 year all state + $100 streaming credit. Even though it was open box for some reason all the things came sealed; tv still had the plastic screen protection and all the stickers attached and the remote bag wasn't even opened.

I think I lucked out because all the other open box TV didn't have the plastic screen protection and remote already had batteries in them.

I think I'll go with Costco due to their customer service and extended return policy. Too bad it's not the same price as buydig.

I called to cancel my buydig order because I was going to go with Costco. The buydig rep offered me $100 off to keep the order so I decided to keep it.

Just called and they offered me $100. I tried to get more but they wouldn't budge. So, I took the $100. When I tried to cancel the warranty, then they said they wouldn't offer anything. I took the $100.
