Depends on what you prioritize. If you have multiple HDMI 2.1 gaming consoles (PS5, XSX, PC) I'd go with the C1. If none of that matters to you, wait on the Sony. The Sony supports HDMI 2.1, but it's limited to HDMI ports 3(eARC), and 4. If you plan on using a sound bar or AVR, you'll either have to get a HDMI 2.1 compliant receiver for HDMI 2.1 passthrough, get a HDMI 2.1 switch, or run your audio through optical (not ideal). The Sony 77" will have better picture quality and it has a glossy finish unless the smaller A80Js that have a semi matte screen. Enjoy whatever you decide to get.

Maybe it depends on what agent you get. When I called, I was asked why I wanted to cancel, was told costco price matched, and that was it. I figured they would come back with something. I didn't ask if they could do anything, it might be worth a shot.

With that said, at costco, you also get a $100 streaming credit which can be used on Sling, Paramont+,showtime, and "XBOX" (which I've found out is more or less anything microsoft/xbox wise, not just streaming").

So 5 year legit warranty at costco and a $100 credit which I can use for xbox games makes it the better deal for me personally.

Torn between BuyDig and Costco. I'd have to buy a costco membership first, so that makes it $60 more expensive. Coupled with the 5% cashback through Discover/Paypal with BuyDig it seems like a better deal for me. I may just go BuyDig and take my chances with the CPS warranty.

after reading about the bad CPS warranty kinda wanted to switch back to Verde but saw people were getting money back so gave it a shot but no dice from BuyDig. just told them i had buyers remorse and a bit too expensive and they just said okay so i guess Verde it is!

Does anyone have any experience purchasing directly from LG? The 77" C1 is on sale for$2599, but if I buy it with my Capital One Venture X CC I get an extra year warranty and $780 in Capital One shopping awards which are as good as cash to me. Basically brings the total to $2,034 for me. I do have the ability to purchase at Costco as well. Thoughts?

Yes ordered from LG when they had the 77C1 for $2099+tax. Good professional delivery by a last mile local delivery service who deliver all LG products.
