This Crossbow is being sold with a known defect. DO NOT BUY. Please read reviews on the "String Locking Mechanism" and you will see that numerous complaints about this product. When addressing issue with seller "Sportsman's Outfitters", my calls and e-mails have gone unanswered.

Not gun laws, but some states have laws that prohibit and some states have laws that restrict certain bows.
