Stem [amazon.com]
Bar [amazon.com]
Grips [amazon.com]
Pedals [amazon.com]

Be sure to watch YT for installations. Common installation mistakes for above items include over-tightening and tightening wrong direction.

Start with these 2 videos and be patient:

How to Adjust a Front Derailleur [youtu.be]
How to Adjust a Rear Derailleur [youtu.be]

One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

41 lb? Or is that the shipping weight including all the including packaging?
There's no way the bike is 41lbs.

Probably closer to 30-35.

Same question, I am 5.7, should I go for size 16 or 18?

I could literally use this bike just for its parts to fix up my other bikes. Sell the frame.

You can always ride a smaller bike but you can't sit on a larger bike. Go with 16 in

Anyone have one of these? I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to biking.

This a quality brand these days?

Framed is good but the price is in-line with bottom of the barrel components, no weight savings, and may need adjustments

$132.86... With tax. I bit!!!! This kills all Walmart bikes. Hopefully I got in early enough before all the knuckle draggers started to realize it's a smoking deal and bought one. Wink

Great bike for a buck 25. Seat looks like my ass and junk is going to hate me. Easy replacement. I'm 6' so I bought the 20".

Thanks OP.

I had a different experience at 5'5", 16 too small, might have to cut seat post either way.

You'd still end up with low end components. It would be a foolish proposition versus just buying lightly used SRAM X-9 or Shimano XT stuff off eBay.

Googled it and found exact same price likely same company? Anyway ordered one to use on biking trail for occasional workouts. Looks to be a solid post-inflation price.
