One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

That one is selling for $400 (not sure who the seller is). Anyway, I like that it uses trigger shifters even if the derailleurs are Tourney stuff. Still, $125 and it looks like this bike should be OK on novice to intermediate trails.* Great price if you are looking for something cheap.
*This assumes things like the hubs and frame aren't total junk.
Framed is a legitimate bike company, although they are nothing special (just slapping together builds from chinese frames for budget prices). They are mostly known for their affordable fat bikes.
Not identical though. Hard to tell as the specs aren't all clearly listed, but the Camping World bike lists mechanical disc brakes while the Rendal has hydraulic. Listing could also just be wrong--picture kind of looks like hydraulic brakes.
Might use a cheaper shifter on the Campign World bike as well. Fork appears to be the same.
I'd say this is a good value at $125 (and a ripoff at $600). It isn't exactly a truly capable mountain bike, but it is better than any average Walmart/Target bike for the same price. Fork is a big limiter here...it is a 100mm travel coil fork which means you are basically riding a pogo stick. But you're not going to be able to get an air fork for this price.

whats the best place to get a good lock?
Will i notice a (stamina needed) difference using these tires on street vs swapping them out for street tires? I know i used to take the bmx to the mt bike trail an of course things eere different
