One main reason MTB/gravel riders upgrade to 1x (one by) drivetrain is to simplify the derailleur adjustments. This bike can be upgraded to 1x later, but would require upgrading the rear hub/wheel. There's nothing wrong with 3x drivetrain on this bike. In my opinion, 1x is more of a quality-of-life upgrade, others might tell you 1x also saves weight.

I feel like after WWII Americans became obsessed with cars and speed, and the cities were built entirely around cars with zero consideration for bikers or walkers for the most part. Maybe it was the cheap source of gas after WWII or just the obsession with the automobile but yeah its such a shame, even with the environmental angle there has been very little improvement on bike lanes and bike accessibility.
I ride about 150 miles a week and almost never drive now. For me, having the electric bike made biking completely painless if i wanted it to be. I have really bad arthritis, hip/back/neck problems and being able to turn on the full power when going up the steepest hills is the best feeling ever.
Lastly, to all others, i forgot to add 2 things i would buy for the bike, a cheap bell and also Velo 9 Cateye wired bike computer to keep track of how fast you are going and more importantly the total miles. I have the Velo 7 and 9, and i prefer the 9 for a few bucks more, and i would do wired over wireless for added reliability. On my 2 bikes with them, i never once had them stop working or not showing my speed correctly. I don't really trust the wireless versions.

Any suggestions what I should do? It said it was a clearance item, no returns. Will camping world still do a return as it's cracked? Or am I stuck trying to get a manufacturer warranty?

check the link, that's what I measured.
From ground to lowest point of the beam (the corner connecting to the seat tube) is about 26 and half inch.

My front brake needs some adjustment, outside of the wheel disk seems touching the break a tiny bit. Not sure how to adjust that, will do some research later.
