I'm 74 years old and have nearly 1,000 games in my Steam account. I would say 75% I've never downloaded and installed. Most of the others I have tried and just uninstalled. So, now I have maybe a dozen installed and of those I play 2 or 3 regularly.
Trust me, retirement isn't the solution to your problem. :-)
Love it, I just keep stacking all these free games thinking I will install the Epic Games client and play them one day 🤣
Never heard of Iratus or Geneforge, and heads-up: Hood is online/MP only and the playerbase may be dead even though it's only a year old.
Granted, they're all free so it really doesn't matter.

Don't need to — just link your Epic account to GOG Galaxy and play them all on GOG Galaxy
In my experience this is wrong. You still have to install the Epic launcher to install and play the games. The GOG Galaxy system just lets you organize them all in one place (I use Playnite, personally), but it just opens the Epic launcher in the background when you launch the game through GOG/Playnite.

Well not with GOG Galaxy 2.0 . I got Warhammer Total War free on Epic and played it for a while on GOG Galaxy 2.0 . I'll admit I don't pay much attention to where I got the games. I just linked the Epic, Origin etc sites to Galaxy and play whatever game from wherever, whenever on there. The only exception being Ubisoft Uplay which does not link well to Galaxy or Steam. Uplay also cant launch HOMM 6 or 7 and won't let you play them on anywhere else —so you are pretty much screwed if you want to play those.
This from over 20yrs of PC ownership. There are so many giveaways and bundles available it's easy to accumulate a lot of games (mostly indies) that you'd probably never get around to playing.

I have 300 movies. I've only watched 25 of them. I don't even want to watch the movie. I just want to read a 1 page summary about the movie.
I strongly recommend Hood. Qs are still quick enough and its a pretty challenging game until you figure out the mechanics. Pro tip.....you need a John in your team......Robin is fun....But you need a John.

Hey, when will the game Realmz become free on Epic? It'd bring back memories.

Complete shit SD, stop this!!!
The trick is to get an Nvidia shield and play them all on GeForce now. No need to download or install to try them out
I already have a shield pro, but I don't have a desktop PC. Just a laptop and a NAS for plex
Geforce Now supports MacOS, Win, Chrome, Shield, Browser, Android, IOS Safari, Android TV and Smart TV. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...stem-reqs/
Cheers,
