Best mouse ever. After my original Intellimouse Explorer died after like 10 years of use, I went through a succession of mice that were just not very good. Deathadder 2013 pinched the heel of my hand when moving back and double-clicked after 6 months. G502... uh, who though a loud, metal mouse wheel was a good idea? I was so happy when Microsoft came out with this. It's like the original, only better. The materials are holding up even better, and the sensor is definitely an improvement.
Only issue is the mouse wheel isn't as reliable. The first batch of mice, the wheel was good for only 6 months or so of ultra-heavy use and I had to go through two warranty claims. (no cost. Pre-paid shipping label) My third has been good for over a year.

Edit for update. It's still going strong after two years.
There was some gunk in the mousewheel that was starting to make it gum up, but rolling it with a paper towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol got it turning freely again without needing to disassemble it.
