Big Miracle, a true story about 3 gray whales trapped by arctic ice due to dropping temperatures only to be saved by Russians? Interesting... I would have expected a movie about polar bears plummeting into the ocean from receding ice with Americans coming to the rescue.

I think you do get 4k rights with Big Miracle. It might not show up in Vudu as 4k yet since they didnt have the 4k version currently.
Interesting. JustWatch[justwatch.com] says Big Miracle is not available in 4K anywhere, but when I redeemed my code at MA, it said it would redeem in 4K.
So yeah.. for all practical purposes, it's an HD release, and I wouldn't hold my breath for a 4K release any time soon, even if had the lung capacity of a gray whale.
P.S. For clarity, when you select a movie and redeem 1000 pts at Universal Rewards, it gives you a code you can enter into MoviesAnywhere. When you do so, it again gives you your choice from these eight movies. You can then pick one, and see whether it gives it to you in 4K or HD before confirming. I did that for all eight, then picked Scarface in 4K.
I've notice on Vudu, Universal is part owner, some Universal titles show 4k under more info even though you can't purchase them in 4k. Some of the movies are The Adjustment Bureau, Unbroken, and 2 Guns.
Big Miracle really is 4K if you play back with the MoviesAnywhere app and since it registered as 4K there it will upgrade on iTunes and Vudu if they ever upgrade it there. But the Movies Anywhere app has the second best streaming quality next to iTunes anyway
