I've been looking for a cheap WIn10 laptop for ham radio stuff and I think this would satisfy that need.
I am not bashing it here; I'm just astounded it's USB C with 2.0. I had no clue that was a thing.
Chromebook =/= sub-par performance. Your statement is pretty bold. How expensive of chromebook machines have you used?
Seeing a Gemini Lake Refresh quad-core at this price point leads me to wonder how much Alder Lake-N 4/8-cores are going to cost when they debut.

I think I have seen it on some other deal. Maybe it's a mistake by Best Buy but it is technically possible:

None of Wikipedia's long articles on USB seem to mention that a USB-C port can be 480 Mbps maximum, just that a cable can.
I mean, I have a Fold 3, but I always thought a Flip might make for a good DeX project device.

Fun fact, these are supposed to be as fast, or faster than, the iconic Core 2 Quad Q6600, probably a little faster than the Q9650. It'll get the job done, I'd be more concerned with whether or not the 'ssd' is emmc.
