Product of China. I work in Quality Assurance in the food industry. Garlic is one of the vegetables with the highest chemical and heavy metal residues when sourced from China. I know some people don't care, but I usually buy USA garlic. If you have Costco they have California garlic which comes cheaper or equal to this.

Worth noting that Consumer Reports did a heavy metals test on many different brands and types of spices, including many of the McCormick offerings:

I was going to ask how the price compared to the costco equivalent, thanks for the post.

This is great information thank you. Not a fan of garlic but there are times it could be used, which is why I was interested in this deal. Appreciate your spill of knowledge

The Costco garlic is also better tasting. Less sharp, less bitter, more body. But not quite as potent... I end up using about half again as much, compared to this. But the results are much better. I avoid the McCormick garlic powder if I have an alternative. Obviously fresh garlic is best, but the Kirkland California roasted garlic powder is one of the best substitutes I've found.

I chose the garlice and onion powder 2 bottle deal and got $10 "prime savings" off the price of $12.68. Final cost 2.68 for both containers.

Well, shucks. Wish this worked on the large cayenna powders (missed the previous sales on these).

For those wanting this for health reasons, garlic powder still retains many of its positives despite the change in format. Still, buying jarred minced garlic is even better yet, especially in terms of manganese and vitamin c.

Also: 1/8tsp of garlic powder is equal to one clove.

I prefer the Sam's Club version. USDA organic as and comes in a nice re-usable glass bottle..

No coupon on my page but it does say I get up to 20% with my AZ Amex card, however, I didn't see the 20% in checkout.

I frequently miss out on coupon deals as I have a business account

also, i hope people dont think they are getting the large version of this. 8.7 oz is a small bottle and not the standard 28oz large container.

The real hero. Ain't no heavy metals in any of your damn garlic powders. So get the deal or move on to the next one.
