Warning: barriers to entry is quite steep and requires deep knowledge about beans, machine selection, grinder selection, and finally barista skill-set.

goes without saying, even though it's currently in the app, the offer is not active unless it's a Tuesday
If that coffee is $5 a day thats $30 a week (lets take one day a week off) thats $6240 in a year.
Shit really adds up, i make $80k a year and no way in hell am i waiting in line (there is ALWAYS a line for SB in my area) to pay a premium for SB coffee.
To you its great. To me its sub-par. Dunkin and McDonalds tastes better IMO at a much lower price (for McDonalds anyways). I guess i just don't have a sophisticated SB palate
Why are we being tribal over something so insignificant? If this deal isn't for you, then STFU and move on...

At least in my city Starbucks is the mid-tier option.
An actual cafe will charge a lot more than Starbucks, but I'll probably enjoy it more than Starbucks.
Sometimes Starbucks is what you want, sometimes you want the cheapest you can get, sometimes you want to splurge and get an oatmilk dirty vanilla chai for $9.
Just drink what you like. I also make coffee at home so it's not a crazy expense for me.
With that being the case...when I feel like getting a coffee (not very frequently), I tend to just grab one from Starbucks. The Dunkin's I have had have all been way worse than anything I have had from Starbucks. Neither was anywhere near as good as the coffees I have had from Baltimore Coffee & Tea Co. though (both regular coffees and espresso-based drinks).

the slickdealer in me loves a venti cold brew, no/low ice, 50% off brings it down to like $2.50 and you get a LOT of coffee for a cheap price. No sugar or milk so its just pure caffeine goodness (the expensive part!). Whereas nitro cold brews max out I think at grande size for the same price. I take that venti home and split it into 2-3 cups of coffee over a day or two, adding my own ice.
Its a slickdealers dilemma, more coffee without bubbles or less coffee with bubbles
