You could buy it via iTunes on a computer then install Apple+ on your android device and sync your account. It should give you all your TV shows and movies you bought when you sign in. At least that's what we do on our Roku and we don't subscribe to apple+

I use itunes on PC to buy. Then on roku, I install apple TV (install without subscription), and activate via PC with unique code displayed on tv.

Open roku, choose appleTV and choose library. All movies, TV shows I purchased shows up here, without appletv subscription.

After 4 killer seasons, Paramount decided they want it back, but they are only showing season 5+ on the Paramount Network (only available with certain cable companies), and they will not release season 5 until after season 6 is ready.
