If the straight minox isn't working then you can add finasteride (aka propecia). Beware that on some percentage of people finasteride/propecia will destroy your libido. It did to me when I tried it back in the 1999 timeframe. Took over a year to get back to normal when I stopped. But it DID grow hair!
There is a recipe called "Super Zix" that someone developed for hairloss that I borrowed some ingredients from and mixed up my own combo using the Minoxidil 5% base. Here it is if you want to try it or check out the Super Zix formula here: http://advinfoprod.com/hair_formulas_1
1- 2oz bottle of 5% Minoxidil
150mg vitamin B6 powder
25mg pure zinc sulfate powder
400mg BHT (supposedly as a preservative)
600mg NAC (N-Acetyl-Cystine) powder
A couple of droppers of liquid Pygeum/Saw Palmetto
2 drops Neem oil (VERY oily, so only use a tiny bit)
Shake well before use, apply to head once or twice a day. I apply this once every evening. Two times might be better but one works for me. I apply over my whole head with a dropper, then massage in and let dry.

I guess you might have a unicorn store but this is not sold in stores.
Are you sure it wasn't the foam version? How much was it? If it was ~$40, that's the foam version. If it was ~14, it's the liquid one.
One order doesn't equal one item.
Per order = one TOTAL per receipt
I hope this helps
Compare to oral finasteride -- goes everywhere in the body and only some localizes to scalp.
And to others, I would still try Nizoral 2% shampoo that gives the same end results such as reducing dht on scalp, giving follicles reprieve from dht attacks. Everyone seems to respond differently, so you guys need to trial and test
On a similar note, there was something called professional laser hair removal of undesirable body hair that cost several thousands of dollars and still needed multiple sessions. Now, I can show you a home laser hair removal device on Amazon for a paltry as low as $250, and will work wonders just using it in the comfort of your home.

Some microneedling devices work as "rollers" and can cause micro-tears in the skin leading to greater superficial skin trauma. In addition, devices that lack uniformity of needles can develop jagged or bent needle tips over the course of the treatment that would also create tears in the skin.
Also, you cannot adjust the length of the needles on a dermaroller like you can with a derma pen. So you will have to spend more money buying multiple rollers if you need different lengths. They also have derma stamps with adjustable lengths. I have yet to see a derma roller with adjustable lengths.

Now to your second point of adjustable needles, i find this useful feature and tempted to look into it. But know that physical principle of dermarolling would stay almost the same. Thanks for the info

A case of 36 soft drinks is rung up as a single "item number"/UPC/SKU, but it is 36 items. It is not an "item".
And you missed laughing out loud at what I did there about "splitting hairs". Oh well.
I chimed in since the semantics police came out with claws, my whole point was... touche!
Deep, I know.
LOL.
You put it on your blading spots, so there is not much hair.
The liquid runs too much, ends up where you don't want it.
