6 months, I have had cricket locked phones on the 176th day become unlocked
If I knew someone who just needed service for half a year this would be a decent deal (outside of the hoop hassles).

This plus the second gen battery is absolutely awful. The 3rd isn't much better but it is a little better
I agree. 2nd Gen SE battery life is horrible.
If you want it unlocked, you need at least another 3 month for $90. Unless you are staying on Cricket, it's not a great deal for most.
