SD is pretty late to the game when it comes to cash back. I think they only started to offer cash back when they finally realized that we all come here to find the deals, then buy through the other cash back sites, which denies them of their referral commission.

Unfortunately, they still have a lot of work to do to catch up to the ease and efficiency of the other cash back sites.

Check the Redemption Portal again now - we just got updates for today from Amazon and if yours shipped already it's most likely going to show up now

Hi there. Amazon data takes 2-3 days to show up in our system so by end of week they should be there. We don't screen scrape or record purchases like some sites but the trade off is that we have to wait till we are notified about the transactions. If they don't show up in the next couple of days, reach out and we will make sure you get your points.

I see 199 points showing up for one of the echo device I bought now but I bought 2 devices in that order. Is the cash back limited to one? I already got the order delivered.

I also see a bunch of shopping sessions with ineligible cash back. I only saw one session and it was showing as ineligible right after my purchase so that was very confusing.

How does this work? I have the browser extension installed but when I click on it says can't show deals w Amazon. Do I just order and it will be added behind the scenes?

We are working hard to make it a great program. The more feedback, good and bad, the better, so we can make sure things work the way our community wants it to.

Here is my honest feedback about SD's cb and other cb sites. I hope it will not be deleted.
- Others do not require installing any extensions: you can just click on the brand name and your transaction is recorded. So, do push extension for everything: people do not want to install extensions!
- On average, other CB sites offer ~2% more. Price match!!!! As it was mentioned earlier SD is pretty late to the party. Earn the trust of your community by offering better deals. It is not the time to be greedy.
- Other CB sites offer extra % if you redeem your points/earned income to gift cards or virtual amex/visa cards (~ 5%).
- Other CB offer some monthly incentives to use their website (extra cb, games, etc). Eg.: make a shopping trip and buy at least $10 worth of goods and get $2.5. I always take advantage of these deals and buy grocery gcs.The key is these incentives should be regular, people do not like one timers.
- It'd better to have a dedicated and clean page for just CB offers. Eg: http://cashback.slickdeals.net/ where you publish brands and corresponding CB percentage. Again keep this dedicated page clean: just the brand name and amount of cb (for all other deals we have SD's front page)! I don't want to browse the deals forums to learn about current CB offers. I know that extension can solve the issue BUT I do not want to install it (and let SD track my browsing history).
- Offer referral bonuses like other CB sites. Recommendation of a friend is more powerful than SD cashback ads.
- Other CB sites are offering CB for grocery receipts (and bonuses for buying some particular goods). Maybe SD should also think about that area of CB as well to diversify its offers.

I'll update this post if I remember any other noteworthy features of an ideal CB site.

Hi, this is great feedback and honestly a lot of it is on the roadmap for us to rollout this year. Couple things I wanted to note. [list][*]You dont actually need to download the extension anymore to participate in SD Cashback. We do offer higher cashback rates in the extension for most stores though. Its just an exclusive bonus but not required. ]

Just out of curiosity, why is this not mentioned in the original posts on these deals (not even this one)? Would be nice to see what the difference is so as to decide if it's worth messing with the data mining extension. And if you aren't selling the info it collects, what is the point of it? You know what we are buying already from the click throughs
