I don't recommend this unit: the PSU is not powerful enough to upgrade a good graphic card. It's 12V only. Mobo is not a standard one with strange connectors. You cannot replace power supply with a standard one. I purchased and returned mine. Just for your information and awareness. If you don't plan to upgrade and use for surfing and basic office works, it's not bad at this price.

Anyone know the dimensions? I can't seem to find them listed. They must be right in front of my face somewhere.

Also, what's the most powerful card that will fit in this case?

Thanks for any and all help.

Does anyone have a recommendation for adding ram and if this is the right one or anywhere for a good price? No gaming but a lot of excel and web pages. I haven't bought a computer in a long time. TIA!

Stolen from a prior thread, I got the Crucial 8gb and it worked.

Thanks for the dimensions and GPU info guys.

I really was hoping I could find a 2060 or 2070 to fit in this little guy. That would make it a kickass little gaming station.

This site has a small factor 2070 listed but I don't think it will fit height wise.

It's about the width not the height. A dual slot height card will fit but it can't be regular ATX width. I'm not sure the technical term but the small form factor cards that fit are all about half the width of the normal video cards.

Also it needs to only draw power from the motherboard. No extra GPU power cable.

Size probably isn't a problem with those cards but power draw looks like too much for the PS in this PC.

Good points about the power requirements. The 2060 draws around 165w. You can use an adapter to plug the GPU into the PS directly. This pc should be able to handle it.

What is the model# ram installed in this?
If you read the previous threads for these PCs they came shipped with different RAM, some got Samsung, Micron, Adata and Kingston.
I bought an Acer i5 and i3 and they both came with one stick of Adata 8GB DDR4 . That model # is AM2P32NC8WW1-BCFS

This list from the Acer community seems pretty accurate: https://community.acer.com/en/dis...e-xc-1660g

Just some items to add to this discussion in case it comes up on sale again. I returned the i3 Aspire 1660G (UW92) for this one i5 11400 (UW93) and installed an RX 6400 small form factor GPU. And just to confirm a few things, there is one open slot for RAM, there is a 3.5" bay for a HDD (I put a 2.5" SSD). You have one SATA power connector available and 3 SATA connectors on the motherboard. The PSU does not have standard connectors so you can't easily swap this into another case and just use a regular PSU.

My use case is for occasional light gaming and browsing/discord, and so far from my use seems to be on par if not a little better than my laptop with a GTX 1650. The RX6400 seems like the way to go as you can get one new for less than a used small form factor GTX 1650 or 1050 for that matter. This computer has a PCI 4.0 x16 slot, so the RX 6400 does well the i3 version has a PCI 3.0 slot which hinders the RX 6400 in some games.

Timespy scores (Integrated Graphics): 527
Timespy score (RX 6400): 3814

A regular card will not fit in this case at all.

Got mine today. It's working fine so far and I don't see any obvious signs of previous use. Getting it set up and Windows 11 installed. A couple observations:

- The shipping box was not very secure. One side was crumpled, but luckily there was enough packing material around the computer that it didn't get damaged.
- I think the fan noise will get annoying real quick. Under a fair amount of CPU load, it's pretty loud. Any recommendations for a direct replacement I can install? I don't plan on installing any graphics cards or anything like that, just would be nice to have something quieter.

There is one other fan power plug on the motherboard. I also want to know if it's easy to just swap out the cpu fan or maybe just plug in another fan and have it push some air out of the case

Finally installed a graphics card. Used the online graphics test at web.basemark.com and the test would not complete on this Acer Aspire XC i5-11400 without a graphics card installed. For comparison, added results from other systems:
