That was a concern when oleds first came out. Models in the past 5 years do not suffer from burn in. this was mainly a concern for gamers who would play the same game 8 hours a day every day and the HUD would leave a burn in

Thank you. I wish I could see where it is verified that new oled tvs have no burn in. My family leaves the tv on just to listen, some even overnight. It's a bad habit. If the five year warranty covered burn in that would be good.
You could get a smart plug that auto turns off at certain times of the day
I'm looking at the C1 or A80J. Should I just pull the trigger? We game and watch movies if that makes a difference.
