I have had this for a few years - some of the points are probably similar to what others have mentioned on this thread

cons

- this runs hotter than the dial claims
- not a set it and forget it air fryer. Even after two years, I don't air fry anything without constantly checking on it.
- Not as efficient of an air fryer as a dedicated plastic one - but it does the job just fine for me.
- included accessories are a pain in the ass to clean.

pros

- interior volume , you can make way more food at a time and it will cook better as you can keep things in a single layer.
- toaster/air fryer functionality. I always grew up with toaster ovens. I can't imagine living without one. I'd rather have a slightly worse air fryer that can do both.
- design looks a lot better than a giant plastic air fryer - and will probably last longer.
- never had a single issue fitting an entire frozen pizza in here, cooks way faster, easier, and cooler than using an oven.

Sucks that its up to $130 as a deal, but I guess thats everything these days. I got this for around $100 a couple years back and would recommend it to anyone who cares to put a little bit of work in to make the best food you can out of an oven/air fryer. If you want to set it and forget it, you're gonna hate this, dont get it.

I'm genuinely concerned by the comments… 'it runs hot but it's still good'. 'It's good if you babysit it', etc.etc. This oven runs hot (way, way hot). Mine would fluctuate wildly between 380-420 when set at 350. That means it FAILS at being an oven. You shouldn't have to do anything other than turn the dial and put food in and out.

I've had this air fryer for ~1.5 years and I would recommend it but I've seen a lot of complaints in other threads about these failing (mostly the knobs). It seems Cuisinart sticks by their warranty though and IIRC these have a 3 year warranty (or used to).

The included pan is absolute garbage and nearly impossible to get clean. I got a Cuisinart non-stick pan for ~$10 that's slightly smaller and cleans easily so I almost never use the included pan.

Most air fryers have temperature issues and even if you follow air fryer directions many items will come out completely charred. They all run a bit differently. The advantage is they heat up almost instantly and cook much faster so unless you're going to throw food in and leave the house, it shouldn't really be an issue. Once I learned the cook times of my air fryers (this and a bucket style one) then it was no longer an issue of setting the timer and leaving it be. They cook better and faster than my full sized oven for most things. The difference between cooked and burnt can be a minute or 2 though so I still suggest staying nearby if possible.

These are awesome.

I had my 60 (this model) die after 3 years.... and just bought the 70 for $180. Half tempted to return and buy this.

I use this more than my stove or microwave at this point. Fantastic appliance.

If they cannot get it right the second time through with a refurbished unit, I have to believe it was/is a poor design issue. From buying a few and reading reviews across many brands, types and styles of air fryers, I don't know that spending more money will get better quality.

The OP looks great with the drop down door, but a bit small inside for a 12" pizza and prefer digital settings that are also accurate. I am always multi-tasking and like washing clothes, I don't want to watch it do it's job.

Do not buy a refurb. For me the analog dials stopped working soon after my return ended. I absorbed the cost and left a review to inform other consumers. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Same goes for breville refurbished units. They're bound to fail after a bit of use.

I thought it was a Panasonic Q at first.

Price just dropped to $99. It went from 120 to 99 as I was checking out. Not sure how or if it was an error.

I mean, no. The replacement I bought does not run hot nor is it a common issue. The issue to which I was referring is the use as a general oven. Setting an air fryer to 350 should result in the temp being 335-365, not 400+. That's… that's what temperature dials are for. Baffling.

Yep, when people jump all over Breville, Cuisinart and other name brands for a price, they have all been a pos for me. Like people, appearance and status does not necessarily equate to quality and great serviceability.

Meanwhile, I have had really good service from mid range Panasonic items. TV's, microwaves, phones, etc., have all lasted a decade or more. Perhaps I will take a look at what they have for air fryers.

Something else to consider is the wattage required. At 1800 watts and 110v, this requires over 16amps that most people are plugging into a 15amp receptacle. With a 15amp breaker, you are not going to run anything else from that receptacle, that same circuit at the same time.
