These crooks charged me for all 3 ($47.47) even though I absolutely cancelled before the date. I've filed for a chargeback and waiting for my CC company. Best Buy support are liars & thieves.
I swear to God BB has become the next newegg & TigerDirect. Never again.

Citibank has virtual account numbers on select cards and it's an absolute godsend for all these Slickdeals offers. No reminders on the phone and worrying about cancelling before the promo period is up.
I have had no issues doing this deal every 3 months on my account. Key is just wait till the old trial expires.
The 3 month trial starts when you checkout and not when you redeem the code right ?
Would be nice if that's not the case. I have trial ending in 40 days but signed up for this one anyway with CapitalOne Virtual Card. I may just redeem it on another account that already expired.

I don't know the answer to this I always let mine expire before I start a new trial on my account.
As someone in the music business and a total audiophile.. Tidal is awesome in regards to quality. Having the ability to listen to masters and HiFi is great. You can seriously hear things in songs that you've never heard before. This is the only streaming service I use for the past year plus. I have no issues streaming in the car and a lot of the music I listen to.. even a lot of obscure rock, punk, metal, reggae, indie, jazz, etc..stuff is on here.
In regards to payments and this deal.. I have zero input.
But the audio quality.. AWESOME!

Capital one does this also.
If you don't have a CC that does virtual numbers, you can use something like privacy.
They even do cash back if you do the $10 subscription
Subscriptions are handled on Bestbuy's end which in the past has been a hassle for me. I've taken advantage of this deal twice before
First time, the Bestbuy website account management page for subscriptions did not allow me to cancel the Tidal subscription auto renewal. I got a message that I needed to contact Bestbuy customer support "to cancel" my sub. Because of the heavy load or perhaps staff shortages it took me 2 days to get through to a rep via chat. The wait times were about 45 minutes to chat.
On the 2nd signup I was able to cancel the Tidal auto renewal myself without cus support intervention.
The main drawback with Tidal is that they don't have true high res streaming. Qobuz streams the authentic 24bit PCM files while Tidal uses a lossy proprietary format that masquerades as high resolution.

I did a Tidal deal like this a few months ago as an existing Tidal customer. It did NOT start the subscription time upon purchase; I had to wait for the end of my existing billing period before I was able to activate the Best Buy subscription time. It gave me an error about not being able to use the code with a currently-subscribed account. Once my time ran out, there was no problem getting the new subscription up and running.
For this round, I was able to cancel my current subscription through the Best Buy website and didn't have to call in. I don't know when an account is flagged to call customer service to cancel, but it's not everybody. (I bought three of these penny deals, though, so if I'm gonna get flagged, that'll probably do it lol)
If you're looking for the subscription cancellation page:
1. Login to your Best Buy account
2. Click where it says "Hi, Your Name" (top, about 2/3 of the way across)
3. Second section, middle option. Click "Protection Plans & Subscriptions"
4. Bottom left corner of the Tidal section, very small letters. Click "Cancel subscription"

Horror Story on cancellation process, can't believe you tried it a second time.
