***EDIT*** if you get an error during checkout try remove the stupid free Net10 sim card, I couldn't checkout till I removed it.

Why does it ask for my SSN when I choose verizon in "activate now" process?

Was able to get Samsung.com to price match and Samsung got better trading value + $100 for accessories and $50 activation credit.

to make sure you're an authorized account user.

bought many times from BB it doesn't add charges to your account (as long as you paid in full) but process is necessary to verify you have a valid account with the carrier to qualify for that price.
