I've been drinking Bustelo regularly ever since I was a broke student. It's great as espresso or from a moka pot, and I even like the flavors you get with an aeropress.

I had Bustelo before and think it was OK. Not crap like Maxwell's blue can etc. but it's not something that I'd miss if they stop making it tomorrow. For the money I think McDonald's classic roast is great value. If you have an Aldi their German roast (the one in a vacuum foil brick) is also great and tastes even better. If I'm getting a pack of coffee at a regular supermarket for free it'd probably be Peets Major Dickerson blend. I'm sure there are better coffee for even more money but at that point it'd be frivolous.

But yeah inflation. Last time I bought Bustelo from Target it was $3 I think? Now it's $4.

Guys, haters, educate yourself on making Cuban Coffee to make use of this coffee properly. It was made with a purpose. That is alot of coffee though.
