I purchased one but for folks that have this unit or the older one (1080p version) a quick question. After setup is complete, can anyone just scan the QR code and make changes to the camera or access the footage? Where I plan to mount the unit, it will be within arms length and someone can scan the QR code without much difficulty.

Or you can by the Wyze bulb adapter and use their camera with your existing flood light to make it smart and replaceable. Adapter is like 15-20 bucks wyze v3 wired and wireless outdoor cam runs for 30-50 bucks

You can view later without a subscription. But if the power goes out…anything dependent on wifi or electrical also goes out.
