You can IF you don't have auto renewal turned on. I'm not sure why I did; they must have offered me something in exchange. I just clicked "cancel" (which isn't really cancel, it's just "don't automatically renew this when the time comes" but you can't scare people out of doing stuff with that sort of verbiage) and then immediately chose the renew option at the bottom.

Which was sort of questionable since it didn't expire till next March, but I figure I'll trade $7.50 in opportunity cost for $7.50 in discount.

Just checked again, Fandango still not displaying the discount down to $5 a seat!

AMC Theaters is an absolute sh*t hole. The last couple of times we went the place was filthy, drink stations were mostly empty, no butter for popcorn and bathrooms had little or no supplies. And the last movie we saw there was a 1:30 pm showing. Inexcusable. Especially at that time of day. We decided that would be our last visit to AMC theaters.

Same here. $5 fandango expires today but no luck getting the $5 tickets. Have paid AMC stubs membership and it is connected too. Not sure if it's a glitch or intentional on fandango's part

You are can use an expiring Fandango code on a future showing . Maybe this helps somebody. But you would have to find a future showing that is going for $5. Like next Tuesdays? If those are up yet.. Probably not until Friday in most cases.

Marcus Theaters has a better deal , $5 on Tuesdays for any movie, no needed to be some paid member.

If you want to be a FREE member of rewards, then you get FREE popcorn on Tuesdays as well.

They have gift card bonus offers near Black Friday, example buy $50 giftcard get $20 in rewards. We do this every years and the net result after rewards is like $3 per person plus free popcorn on Tuesdays.

Note Imax, 3-d and the Ultra big screen is $6.50 on Tuesdays, a $1.50 extra for the premium screens.

Yes, lots of theater in my area did give $5 Tuesday but, limited to day time shows only.
This is a really good deal as my kids wanted to see lots of good movies released this summer. And we can go to night shows.
But, one thing to note is, $5 price drop only applies up regular theater.
The price didn't drop up $5 for IMAX, IMAX 3D, Dolby and 3D theater.
But, I noticed that they are deducting $5 from the ticket so for IMAX the ticket price drop from $18 to $13.
