Was pretty tempted but likely not going this route due to no collision detection and limited weight support (probably fine but between hardwood, a heavier computer, and three monitors I'd rather not push it).
That being said, looks like a fantastic value for a DIYer that doesn't need collision detection or the extra weight.
are they going to make 4 motor straight frame? for like 10 ft long butcherblock top
I bought a different brand one off Amazon that's dual motor and use a 8ft butcher block that i purchased from home depot. Worked out great.
Only problem with an L shaped setup like this is if you use two separate pieces either a 4 or 6ft butcher block you would need to either secure them together under neat since only one piece would only be attached at both ends of the wood. Something to keep in mind.

Im trying to find a setup that will work with something around 7 to 8 feet and it sounds like you found it.
