    Meh, the Fire HD 8 32GB was the same price from Woot a couple months ago.

    If you do go with this make sure to check out Fire Toolbox to disable the ads and remove/disable Amazon bloatware.

    Yes, it would actually be better if Amazon sent them back to be recycled because the vast majority of consumers will throw this into a land fill. Not buying is the better option so that Amazon does not see demand for this junk and discontinues production of future low-quality tablets. It's already made, so I'll buy it is not the right attitude.

    I had a 2019 7" fire tablet, it was so slow at literally everything that I couldn't use it at all. The 2020 model is leaps and bounds better.

    I got this and agree it was slow. I was going to return it, but instead realized I got more for trade-in toward the HD 10 (they gave me $50 vs the original $33 + tax that I had paid). The HD 10 has 3GB of RAM (vs 1GB here) and runs much more smoothly.
