The differences between the 7500 and the e320 are small but may be important to some.
7500
- 3 color options - red, black and white
- electrical cord 6'
- dimensions: 17.5 x 7.7 x 9.4
- 12.5 #
- 87 dB
E320
- 2 color options - red and black
- electrical cord 4.5'
- dimensions: 11 x 8 x 18
- weight: 10.5 #
- 97 dB
Control-wise... the same.
Performance-wise... the same.
I think the 7500 may have more metal in the casing.
Warranty - both 7 years.
Costco E320 comes with two 20 oz cups. Costco known for easy returns.
Vitamix - one of the finest companies you'll ever deal with when it comes to warranty.
I do recommend a factory reconditioned one from Vitamix direct. I've had two factory reconditioned bought from Vitamix, came with a new container and tamper and the base literally looked unused, and they have been everything people boast about. But, the price on these new ones is way too good to pass up if it is the model you are looking for. Plus you get a longer warranty than the reconditioned. (Mine is long after the factory warranty and runs like it was new.)
The 7500 is more of a professional (restaurant) line where as the e320 is a home (budget) line. Both are similar as far as features, power, capacity and so forth, with the 7500 having a better/longer warrenty over the e320. Overall though, they are both great blenders.
I personally have an older 5200 my mother-in-law gave us, which I love. If I were to upgrade, I would go with the 7500, though I am a very experienced chef who cooks everyday.
You also don't need a costco membership for the 7500...just saying.
Correction, both blenders now carry a 7 year warrenty.
I have the e320. It's the best blender I've ever owned. But if you're trying to make frozen fruit smoothies it seems to struggle because of the container design and lack of liquid. Also the 45 min overheat safety protection that can't be sped up is really annoying if trying to do meal prep.
Can someone explain genuinely why these are so expensive?
Last forever, blend is incredible. Also a known name plays into it. Made in USA. We got the A2500 for $499 love it. Big purchase but we will have it a long time like our a kitchen aid mixer.

I've had mine for twelve years and I have not had one issue with it. I have blended hundreds of smoothies consisting of all completely frozen berries/fruit, essentially ice cubes, with some cold liquid for 'lube.' It comes out in the perfect froyo like consistency every single time. I have had one or two other blenders and they just did not have the power to do said smoothie even once, I think they either broke or I threw them in the garbage, I forget. Basically anything under $150-200 will not not be able to do what this thing does, it is a literal beast, extremely high quality, commercial grade, practically BIFL but if mine broke today I would be fine with that, but I expect numerous more years out of it at least. There is no second guessing 'will this blend all this crap i threw into it?' That being said there is some 'technique' to the blending of things, and you want to ease into it before you crank it up or else you will introduce air bubbles into the mix and it will not blend properly, necessitating you to stir it and let the air bubbles fart up to the surface - then try again, slowly at first. Eventually you will master the 'ramp up' and you will get the desired swirly water drain vortex like effect at the top of the smoothie or whatever you are blending. I have not had to replace one part on it including the canister or whatever you want to call it. I have not sharpened the blade once and it seems to blend just as well as when I originally got it. I would not ever buy another brand of blender, they are all basically garbage. Cue the 'my hundred dollar non vitamix blender is awesome screw you!' responses. I am not a fanboy but I surely am a Vitamix snob. You can gauge how genuine my feedback is however you would like.
they wont. many times i submit the "lower price" link, and it never does anything. i'd prefer to get it through amazon since if have $110 in gift cards that i wanna use.

Ok, can someone who knows about Vitamix really help me out here please.
I got the E320 from Costco earlier and did not noticed anything special about it. Yes, it was much quieter than 8 years old Nina blender I had but that does not justify the 3 times price tag for me when we use it like 5-10 mins max a day.
Now we are getting into smoothie and I have been reading a lot about Vitamix and how it makes it super smooth when compared to blenders which leaves small chunks. I am wondering if I should buy the Nina E320 from Costco again and give it a try or not. I really don't want to be the person who keep returning things to costco but at the same time I do want a smooth smoothie. Is this one really different than Costco Ninja Blender/Processor system I got for $100. https://www.costco.com/ninja-food...13502.html[costco.com]
Also is E320 the best deal for the price or should I look into some other model?
The Ninja system is not near the quality of a Vitamix blender. Yes, Ninja has a high powered motor, but everything around it is very low quality. That's why Ninjas are so inexpensive. The blades are thin and very sharp. This means that the Ninja tries to "slice" ingredients, and the blades dull. Out of the box, you'll get some good use out of it. Then you'll notice a significant decrease in performance if your using every day.
I also find the Ninja interlocking to be clumsy and prone to ware. My parents have a ninja system, and half of the attachments/containers are broken. They got a Vitamix this year and haven't touched the Ninja.
The Vitamix has a powerful motor like the Ninja, and everything around it is soo much better. The blades are thick with flat edges. This pulverizes the ingredients as the blades slam into them. That's why you can make peanut butter, ice cream, etc. in a Vitamix. You can also heat ingredients in a Vitamix by letting the blender run for 5-6 minutes.
Use wise, you don't need to take blades out, swap parts, etc. with a Vitamix. Just put the lid on and off. This is huge to me. I've still got a scar from my old Ninja container fell and the blade came out and sliced my hand.
Honestly, don't get a Ninja. Even if the Vitamix model isn't in your budget, go with anything but a Ninja.
Good deal, thanks! I had a lot of trouble ordering through their website (kept getting Access Denied at different stages, including right after entering my payment info). But I was able to place an order over the phone. The rep said they still have plenty left.
Do you have interest in the food processor attachment, interlock (the motor won't start without a container on the base), the digital timer, etc.? If so, go with the V1200
I have heard that the narrow bottle models are better as stuff is less likely to get stuck on sides and you get a better consistency mixtures? Anyone have an opinion?
Good deal. Got a red 7500 last July for $290 SD, Works great, with the look feel and mass of a sturdy commercial unit. Loud, I store over-the-ear phone type protectors on top of the jar. The power and rpm were required for what I blend. I don't need or want the automatic versions. Consider the reconditioned on sale to save another $100.
Wait, you're seeing the 7500 model for $200 somewhere? It's $439 as far as I can tell.
Also, does anybody know how the build quality of the E320 compares to this? I saw some reviews saying the E320 felt a bit flimsy and cheap on the dials, so I'm expecting this 7500 to be somewhat more solid/nice.
What I don't like about the legacy line / explorian are the 20oz smoothie cups that come with the weird base that looks like a cup, it makes no sense and it's only going to be clunky and messy to clean. Like who thought this would be a good user experience?

I concur. I have a tall narrow pitcher and it's rare for things to get stuck on the sides. 99.8% of the time it blends perfectly and only requires a rinse to clean.
