The Midea Cube 35-Pint Smart WiFi Dehumidifier with Pump has a unique lift-and-twist design that offers unparalleled flexibility. When operating in extended form, it has up to 3x more water tank capacity than traditional dehumidifiers. Larger capacity allows for longer run time without the hassle of frequently emptying the tank. When in nested form, the Midea Cube is half the size allowing for compact storage. It can fit into any room and maintain the desired humidity level in your home. The patented sensor and Wi-Fi-enabled app allow you to monitor the humidity and water level, all at your fingertips. With multi-directional air intake and up to three different fan speeds, it is powerful enough to dehumidify your room, and quiet enough that you'll forget it's even there.

they dropped it down to $149 a week or two after that sale. i got mine price matched after buying it in march. both deals were posted on SD. the costco version also has a built in pump; unsure whether this one does.

google home integration could be better and i'm not a fan of the design, but overall it performs very well.

I've had the Pelonis 50 pint with pump & hose on my shopping list at Menard's for $190 before their 11% rebate, $169 after rebate:
https://www.menards.com/main/heat...338432.htm

I haven't been able to find reviews of it online. However, I just read that Midea makes Pelonis. The same unit under the Midea brand name on amazon.com is highly rated. According to the Menard's site, the Pelonis unit has 3-year warranty, and OP's Midea one has 1-year warranty. Does the Midea unit come with a hose? Looking at the pictures of it, I was trying to figure out where the hose would attach.

The Midea cube looks so compact. I was hoping that meant it weighed less, but it's ~40 lbs just like the non-cube style.

I got the 50 pint version of this from Costco. It works great, and is a bit quieter than the last dehumidifier I replaced with this one. Pump function works great. Mine didn't come with the pump tubing for some reason, but it's just 1/4" OD tubing which is cheap and easily bought.

It came with 2 hoses. One 1/4" x 14' for pump use and a maybe 18"~ clear hose for continuous drainage to a floor drain. It has a hose connection port on the back towards the bottom of the top cube portion.

Nice to know you feel the Midea is less noisy.

Unfortunately the 50 pint price is currently $230 at costco.

My experience is it doesn't do half as well as a GE model I just purchased. I'm dumping the GE unit's bucket every day. The Midea takes 5 days to fill. Both 50 pints.
