Apples M1 chip is great, but the build quality on them is terrible, and they're designed to fail within a couple years so you buy another. Check out some of Louis Rossmans videos on them (he's at the forefront of the "right to repair" movement). For example, the current gen MacBook Pro is designed with a power delivery chip that's a known common failure point, and when it fails it sends 14 volts to the SSD, killing it. The SSD can't be replaced, the MacBook can't be repaired, and it ends up in a landfill. I refuse to give my money to a corporation with the worst anti-consumer practices in the industry.

My brother loves the 13.3" Book 2 360 he just got. The screen is gorgeous and it's very snappy. Same specs as this deal.

Sucks! I was hoping to upgrade my wife's last year pro model with this deal but this tradein value doesn't make sense. My apple machines hold better value.
