This is a good deal, but damn - when is the 1/2" atomic going to go on sale again? I've been waiting what seems like forever for a deal on the DCF921B

Cheapest I've seen it by $6. Amazon has had it as low as $121. Had to pay taxes, same as Amazon. Good deal, thanks op.

If you just need batteries, the 4ah Dewalt 20v XR batteries are $49.98 as well and the coupon code can be used with them for $5 off if you buy at least 2.

I got the 1/2 atomic, 3/8 atomic and the multi tool for $238 a couple months back from Ace Tools. Came with two batteries too.

How does this compare to the Milwaukee stubby impact?

Highly recommend the 1/2". I've seen more availability in sockets for 1/2" for a better price. It is pricier but I got a kit with two batteries for $234 3 years ago.

Some have commented asking about the 1/2" Drive Atomic. I have the Dewalt DCF894 XR mid range 1/2" impact that has more torque and I love it! I didn't even realize Dewalt made a 1/2" Atomic till I looked it up. I have the 3/8" drive atomic but haven't really put it though the paces as of yet. I wonder if the Atomic is as Heavy Duty of the XR series?

I ordered from them on Thursday and USPS shows it Monday delivery. Looks like a B&M store in NY.

This DCF923B shows it has slightly less torque than the one you mentioned (DCF894) - 300 vs 330 ft lbs. I got this because of its compact size more torque than I would need for 99% of my jobs. I have a 3/8" to 1/2" conversion I can use if I need to use my 1/2" sockets.

I dont see the 921b anymore. DeWalt removed from their site too. However, the 911b is around with just 50 less ft-lbs torque.
