Do note per the T&C that you have to email Cultivist to cancel the membership, or it will auto-renew at $40/mo. That's right... email to cancel, so you can probably guess how fun that could potentially be.
T&C also say you have until June 22 2024 to activate, so if you are going to use it, you can wait until you might have specific trips to well-covered cities planned.
It's not 100% clear whether authorized users get their own separate membership, but it says "cardholder" which typically includes authorized users separately.

since its Capital one you can just use virtual number and lock it immediately so they don't charge you in case you have a hard time to cancel it
Also just an FYI it's only art museums - not for any other museum type.
Amex had this deal in Jan. You have to email to cancel or it auto renews.
I signed up but never used then emailed to cancel.
