These things suck. I've owned like 8 of them. Hard to connect. Go off and on. Constant problems. Just my experience.

I've owned 16 of these. At 0.50 cents each it still wouldn't be worth it. Outside of connection issues and not changing colors on demand, they often randomly shut off. Very annoying. Stay away.

It will shutdown (cannot be turn on from smart device) if not getting used in 1 or 2 days. You have to manually switch on and off 3 times to reactivate it.

AGREED. I think the issue is that they're bluetooth and they have to connect to something relatively close. i have a few and they do need to be reset on occasion. but, when they work (and they usually do), they're great.
