I do think that it's important to note that, according to the landing page, saying, "Alexa, order an Echo Dot with clock" will order you the Glacier White one. And, of course, specifying, "Alexa, order a Twilight Blue Echo Dot with Clock" will order you the Twilight Blue one. So be sure to use the proper voice command for which one you want!

I don't know why you are comparing these two products. They are completely different products. The echo show 5 has a colored touch screen and a camera on it.

This here. Fantastic upgrade to the old school digital bed-side clocks.

The Echo Show wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't constantly showing ads and other useless shit.

Does this require Amazon Prime? It isn't working for me. when i ask "Alexa, order a Twilight Blue Echo Dot with clock", it just shows pull up search results then i click the echo dot clock and it's as if i just searched it up instead of actually ordering it.

Ingrained habit still occasionally makes a digital display convenient, especially if it's within direct sight. But I find often when I need to know the time I'm in motion from place to place getting ready so asking her is perfect. I'd need to move into proximity to the clock otherwise.

Try this, because it's how I ordered my Twilight Blue one:

(1) Click the "Two days until Prime Day" banner on the homepage of the app.

(2) Click "Alexa early access deals" in the middle square near the top.

(3) Click the blue and white circular icon with the conversation bubble at the bottom right corner of the landing page and try saying the command from there.

It should add the product to your cart, and you can complete checkout normally from there. Good luck! Let me know if it works for you!

Show 5 is annoying in the bedroom, screen randomly flips on at night. This seems like Better option, nice to have the Clock

I put this in the garage for music and I had a nice bright clock to look up at if we were hanging out outside in the driveway or working in the garage. It was hard to yell "ALEXA!" Over loud music blaring to ask what time it was. It has a purpose.
