And dealing with Tracfone customer service (to try to fix things, when the transfer goes wrong) is an absolute nightmare, and a massive time sink.
I passed on a similar deal recently seen here on SD (flip phone from a different seller, and $10 less, with same # of tracfone minutes, etc.) because I didn't want to risk the transfer going wrong, and having to spend frustrating hours dealing with Tracfone customer service to try to fix it. And then you may want to transfer your number back to a bar phone eventually - and that also comes with a higher risk of problems.

From what I read from various reddit posts, google maps on KaiOS uses web version, therefore it doesn't support location sharing.
