As someone who works in this industry, I recommend this model often. It is by far the smoothest FT on the market under $3k. It's far, far better than REP, Titan, etc. At 82.5 lbs max resistance per side, it's low - but those number are on par with the commercial machines you will find at any commercial gym. The Cybex Bravo maxes at 85 lbs, FreeMotion dual stack at 70 lbs and the Life Fitness CMDAP at 97.5 lbs. FTs are intended, primarily, for accessory movements though, which is why the max resistance doesn't go very high. That said, you can use a Gym Pin, King Pin, etc. to add plates or you can even upgrade the stack by using the top plate w/ post from the FT1, FT1 weight plate upgrade and new cables (available in any length you please from any of the big gym supply houses). And this price is fantastic. They often sell used for ~$1k.

Not sure why anyone would thumbs down this. Same place as the warehouse clearance deal a couple months back and delivery is included

I have one and it's great. I will say if you're a big time heavy lifter get the upgraded one. I'm a light weight and face pulls are not hard with 12 plates (it has 15)

For many other workouts, this has way more weight than I can handle

I have this machine and like it… paid a little less (open box new on Facebook marketplace)

Pros: two cables are very smooth, can do dozens of different cable exercises. Rear delts, face pulls, tricep push downs, all sorts of curls, etc. also is quite sturdy for pull-ups. Not very tall and is compact.

Cons: weight stack on each side is not very high; if you're a decently in shape guy and do lat pull downs plan on high reps for burnout; unable to add additional weight but you can hang some in the pins; both towers are closer together so not ideal for cable crossover / chest flyes

Overall it is a great addition to my home gym.

Nice machine, but it has a 2:1 weight ratio. so each stack is like 82.5 lbs.

Any benefit to use Costco Citi card? Or just just use my boa card and get my 3% cb?

Just setting up gym in new home. Sold my half rack when I moved that I used to anchor my lifeline/trx to. Can anone with this advise if I would be able to safely anchor the trx to the pull up bar on this. Is it straight enough? Tia

Can you do squats or deadlifts with this? Also I'm not a big guy and I'll never be a big guy, but I wanna be able to do all the normal workouts to a medium degree of weight and I don't wanna own a bunch of stuff. Is this the product for me?

Thanks for your help
