There are several differences since this is a monitor and the C1 a TV. The C1 is brighter in HDR but doesn't have displayport/KVM/PBP features like the GB monitor does. So if those features are important to you, go with the FO48U.
Otherwise, the C1 has less software and firmware issues and I would generally advise the C1 as the better option between the two if price is equal or similar.
Unfortunately, due to the WBGR subpixel structure, the Gigabyte AORUS FO48U has just okay text clarity. Despite the similarities and nearly identical panel to the LG 48 C1 OLED, the FO48U has slightly worse text clarity, as the color fringing on the outsides of text is noticeably worse on this monitor.

Great price on a poorly reviewed monitor. I have the Samsung Odyssey 49" 240HZ and got it for a few bucks more on a Gamestop deal. $840...now $1099.99. https://www.gamestop.com/pc-gamin...ml?bt=true
I'd hold out for another deal like this. I love mine.
This or Samsung G9 (not NEO) for productivity (coding)?
I want a massive monitor to split into multiple displays without bezels.
I wish this was a curved 1000R ultrawide. Samsungs are like the only 1000R, and everyone says their QA/QC sucks.
I have the Neo and have zero problems… quirks if anything… like to get the brightness to register on my pc I have to turn on my pc, turn on monitor, turn off then back on then everything is perfect. No dead pixels or issues otherwise. I got mine I covered under warranty and use it for work
