If you buy the black and white one together, for some reason the black one gets discounted to $20 and the white one to $49. It's not a bundle, so you could return the white one and get one for $20

Echo Show 8 vs Portal 10"

I know this isn't a full Echo Show 8 replacement, but has certain tricks up its sleeve when it comes to video calling that Echo Show couldn't match. Echo show has better speakers, but this is 2" bigger display size (10" vs 8" for Echo Show 8)

But, this thing costs $35 without any trade-in required, while Echo Show Gen 1 costs $55, lesser if you qualify for a Trade-in.

Hope it helps to choose between the devices.

I actually prefer portal over echo show, it has less footprint but surprisingly has very good sound quality.

While browsing for ECHO show devices - I came upon this Meta portal discount.

10" touch screen - 34.99 (orig 179.00) - with this screen and a 13 MP camera versus the 2 MP on the SHOW, it is a no brainer.

Portal TV also on sale for - 59.00 (orig 149.00) - basically a good smart camera with the tech to keep you in frame.

I have the first portal and it's still the best device for videos calls by far. It's basically an Amazon show with better video calling

How do you buy both? I added both one by one and tried to check out. Price is showing 74.98 + tax.
