A used vac seems gross. I know they all become dirty eventually, but with a new unit I at least know that it's my dirt. LOL

however, its 2022, getting a robot with both Lidar AND auto emptying bin is a MUST.

I thought these things went out with the air fryers and the hoverboard. Lol. Btw I own multiples of all three. Guess I'm a sucker for marketing. The price is not bad but honestly mine never gets used anymore-love the gimmick but I find myself prepping the area beforehand just because I know the limitations which there are alot. Stick vacuum all the way now

Maybe its your floor? My vaccum picks up absolutely everything even the cat litter and toothpicks and whatever is on the floor, you still have to mop once a week or every 2 weeks but the 3 days my vacuum didnt run i totally found out because of floors being not clean, btw i got the wyze for 165, this is overpriced for a basic lidar vac

I ran mine evey day and definitely keeps the floor clean. I love it.

Absolutely not, honestly if you have a big house its impossible to keep up without those, i got two wyze running on each floor and i empty the bins almost everyday. With 3 cats in the house the amount of hair it picks up is unbelievable

I'm in, for 1. I have been thinking of one for my basement, so now I'll use the S5 Max for my 1st floor and move my S4 Max to the basement. Thanks! (I've used Roomba, Neato and Roborock...Roborock has by far had the least problems, for me (and, has done the best/issue-less, cleaning)).

I own the 5s. Bought it for nearly full price so a couple hundred more. Yes I agree it's my floor (tile/carpet) and my furniture (contemporary) lots of low rise mirror bases. LiDAR does not like low rise stuff. The software allows you to block off problem areas but I never wanted to spend time to get that right. The mop reminded me of someone dragging a wet towel across the floor. Also I could not use it since I had carpet also and it does not know the difference. Every time I let it go I have to unclog/unjam it at least once while it's vacuuming my cheap carpet. Guess all I'm saying is this machine is good (software, LiDAR) but in my situation it does not make sense

Which model? They've gotten very good in recent years, especially MaxV types

I wonder how high your carpet is, mirrors absolute nightmare for it, my wyze thought it was a pass through but i just placed object infront of it until mapping was done but my low mirror is only one closet door. On carpet never had an issue you must have really plush carpet. Try wyze for 165 bucks worth the risk from walmart
