Classic Brands has responded to inquiries from mattress review sites and stated that they use fiberglass as a fire retardant under the scrims of the mattress. Foams in mattresses can be highly flammable, so to meet U.S. regulations, a fire retardant must be put into place.
The owner's manual for Classic Brands states that you should never remove the cover off of the mattress. Classic Brands uses fiberglass to line the inside of the mattress cover to make it fire resistant. You should not consider the cover as a washable item. If you slip off the cover or slice/damage the cover open, you will release fiberglass.
For those who are wondering why fiberglass is not listed on the product materials for the mattress, since fiberglass is not used within the mattress itself, it is not required to be listed.

They come in boxes rolled up that usually fit in suv trunks.
You could do worse. Ideally, for long term you'd want something about twice a thick.

Me too lol. Especially because I can barely keep my eyes open haha
Edit: Did some further reading and decided to order. Fiberglass is commonly used in a lot of memory foam mattresses as a flame retardant to comply with government regulations. Sounds like you should be fine as long as you don't unzip the mattress cover.
I really couldn't pass up on a $78 mattress + free haul away of my old mattress at the same time of delivery. Insane deal.
Bad. You want firm. Medium firm figure 100 to 160 lbs

What's wrong with fiberglass?
